Questionnaire

Beginning in 2003, ENGH 0890 and 0990 teachers have been administering a program-wide questionnaire, "Questionnaire for ENGH 0890 and 0990 Courses." The questionnaire provides students with an opportunity to evaluate their learning and their teachers' lessons. The questionnaire also creates information for the Department of Basic Composition. This information that may be the basis for changing or maintaining, curriculum and pedagogy.

The following research reports are analyses of questionnaire results and contain critical questions. Currently, the Department of Basic Composition is in the process of changing its curriculum, pedagogy, and policies based on discussing and answering these critical questions. A data-based decision making process has evolved within the Department, in other words.
