Registration Holds

What are they?
When a block has been placed on your record it prevents registration until the issue is resolved with the appropriate department.

Who can put Registration Holds on my record?
Some examples of departments that can put registration holds on your record include Parking Services, Academic Standards, Financial Aid, Cashier's Office, Departmental Advisors, Registrar's Office, PE Issue Room, Library, Wellness Center, and International Advisement.

How can I get holds removed?
First find out what kind of registration hold you have, you can do this by checking on UV Link. If you have any questions about it you can call the Career and Academic Counseling Center at 863-8425. Then contact the department who placed the hold.
