In 2007, over 100 employers attended and 1,800 ticketed job seekers entered the McKay Events Center to explore new work opportunities in the Utah Valley area. Back by popular demand, the next community job fair will be held on April 2, 2008.
This job fair targets potential employees from Utah County and surrounding areas. Prepare to present your full-time, professional, part-time and temporary positions. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Booth space is limited and will be accommodated on a first come; first serve basis with limits on similar job types.
How will the fair be marketed? The public marketing campaign will begin March 1st for a spectrum of job seekers ranging from summer positions to the career professional. This will include the unemployed and under-employed. Advertising will include database e-mails, newspapers, televised/written community bulletin boards, mailings, websites, community announcements and posted signs in Utah County as well as South Salt Lake, Wasatch, Summit and Juab County areas.
This is a non-profit special event and additional advertising will be arranged as finances and sponsorships allow.
