Utah Valley University Elder Quest was organized in 1992 and is modeled after the Institutes for Learning in Retirement. Sponsored by the College, the members peer teach or are taught by instructors who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise. Classroom, field study, and travel experiences combined with social activities provide lifelong learning in unique and companionable surroundings.

WHO
Persons from throughout the Mountainlands Region who want to broaden their intellectual horizons, pursue studies of many kinds on a non-credit, peer taught basis, associate with adults who share common interests, and enjoy recreation and social activities in an informal setting.

WHEN
Throughout the year with varying schedules for summer and winter. Classes are held on a semester basis; study-travel can be anytime; attendance at theater productions according to presentation schedules.

OPPORTUNITY
For anyone wishing to teach a class, serve on a committee, plan a study travel tour, or just come and enjoy. Let's grow together! Learn--Share--Teach--Socialize!
WHERE
At Utah Valley University campus, Orem Friendship Center, Provo City Library, wherever a study-travel tour travels, or wherever theater productions are held.

COST
Membership fees are $35 per person per year. A class offered in a series is $10 for Elder Quest members plus any lab fees, or transportation and activity ticket costs when applicable.
