The mission of Community Education is to enrich lives and enhance careers. Classes are offered in a wide variety of areas including general education, vocational, recreational, and avocational.

Over 300 classes to enrich your life such as Luscious, Low-Fat, Lightning-Quick Meals, The Magic of Hypnosis, Handling Medical Emergencies, Film Literacy for Everyone, Music Made Easy. There are courses in Business, Computers, Writing, Digital Photography, Language, and more.

Elderhostel, a not-for-profit organization, is the nation's first and the world's largest educational and travel organization for older adults.

The Horticulture Classes taught at UVSC are part of a larger USU Horticulture Program that also offers classes in Salt Lake and Ogden.

A self-directed group, organized in March of 1992 under the direction of the center for Lifelong learning in the Continuing Education Department of Utah Valley State College.
