UVSC Offers Driver Education Courses
OREM, Utah-- All potential drivers are required to complete a driver education course before obtaining a driver license. UVSC offers an Online Driver Education Course in partnership with A-1 Driving School. This course enables students who have busy summer schedules to still obtain a driver license without adding another in-class requirement.
Students enjoy the options of reviewing videos and lessons, learning at their own pace, and studying when it is convenient. Michele Straube said, "The internet-based drivers ed really was the perfect solution for us."
The UVSC portion of the course is 30 hours of study, which includes online lectures, quizzes, and exams to be completed within 60 days. The driving portion of the course includes 6 hours of driving and 6 hours of observation time.
