The UVSC Wee Care Center was designed to meet the childcare needs of student parents of UVSC, MATC and Turning Point. First priority is given to those who are low-income, and all services are based on a sliding scale. Quality care is provided to children ages six weeks to twelve years.

  • State Licensed

  • Childcare provided during the hours parents are in class

  • Wee Care serves infants and toddlers (to age 4) from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM and children to age 12 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM during Fall and Spring semesters.

    Summer semester: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. (Hours subject to change due to number of children enrolled.)
  • Low child-teacher ratio

  • Parents are required to provide some "in kind" services

  • Nutritious meals and snacks provided

  • Parenting classes and other Turning Point services are available to participant parents
