Library & Print Material Copyright Concerns

The UVSC Library respects the rights of copyright holders and supports the free interchange of ideas in order to promote the progress of science and useful arts. The Library balances these sometimes contradictory values as it acquires new materials and makes them available for research and study. Most commonly the Library deals with questions of "Fair Use" in making copies of library materials for students and faculty, making copies of materials available on reserve, and lending and borrowing materials through inter-library loan.
