Finding an Internship
Students are responsible for finding their own internships, but there are many resources available to assist you in your search. Here are some ideas on where to find an internship.
The UV Job Board is the best place to get information on all internships posted for UVSC students through the Career Services and Student Employment office.
Log on to the UV Job Board and do a search by clicking”internships/co-op” in the Position Type box. You will then see a list of internship opportunities and find application instructions. |
Hot Internships E-mail:You have the opportunity to receive a weekly e-mail informing you of great internship opportunities that have recently been posted on the UV Job Board. Just be registered on the Job Board and you will automatically start receiving e-mails about these internship opportunities! Check out our Hot Internships for the week. |
Career Services Counselor:Set up an appointment to meet with a career counselor at Career Services & Student Employment. They have many resources and networks to assist you in finding an internship. You can also get help in preparing a resume and perfecting interviewing skills. |
Internship Department Coordinators:Each department has an Internship Department Coordinator who can help you with resources to find an internship, assist you in the internship process, and give you more information about opportunities specifically for your major. Make sure you contact them before you begin an internship! |
New Local Internships:Utah Intern is the one-stop intern-shop for employers and students. Utah Intern helps employers find interns and students find internships. All of Utah Intern's services are FREE and no registration is required. |
Domestic Internships:This website offers over 3,500 internship opportunities offered by various employers and governmental agencies throughout the United States. Log on using the following username and password:Username: degreePassword: work

Regional Domestic Internships:This site is a national internship opportunity site. Internships are listed based on geographical concentration. A hard copy of all of the regional internship opportunities is available in Internship office. Contact Marsha Haynes, Director of Internship Services and Student Employment, at BA 004r to browse the contents of this internship resource. |
Governmental Internships:Each semester, governmental agencies offer internship opportunities, including some in Washington, DC. More information can be found at the links below.
