The Career & Technical Education department at Utah Valley State College coordinates the college's vocational and technical programs on campus. These programs are designed to prepare students directly for employment in high-demand, higher-paying career fields.
Being prepared directly for employment means that what you learn in the classroom is what you'll be doing in your job. Career and technical education will enable you to gain the skills you need for entry into good paying careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.
The entry point into a high-paying job can happen with just an Associate of Science or an Associate of Applied Science in any of the Career & Technical Education program areas. AS/AAS vocational and technical programs give you high value skills in high demand jobs that pay high wages.
