About the TETC

The Technology Enhanced Teaching Center at Utah Valley State College is an open-access technology training and resource center for all full-time and adjunct UVSC faculty. We focus on teaching you, the instructor, how to use technology effectively in order to facilitate learning. Additionally, we seek to support the goals and objectives of other academic departments on campus in order to further the UVSC mission.

The TETC was created out of the Training program in the department of Distance Education. What began as a short series of 4 different workshops on WebCT for Distance Education faculty grew into a campus-wide faculty technology training and support organization teaching 28 different technology enhanced teaching workshops every semester, and becoming the official body on campus for faculty support on the use of WebCT.

The latest step in the TETC's momentous journey is the creation of an open-access curriculum development computer lab, now open in LC 227.
