- Does UVSC fully protect me from viruses, worms, and other malicious messages?
Q1. How can I keep from checking for e-mail in two or three different places?
A1. Both UVLink (not Messenger Express) and GroupWise allow you to attach to and use other e-mail accounts using IMAP4. Also, LinkMail and GroupWise can both be used as IMAP4 servers in other e-mail clients. However WebCT e-mail must be used inside WebCT.

Q2. Which e-mail clients are recommended by UVSC?
A2. UVSCs servers use the IMAP4 protocol, which is almost universally supported by e-mail clients. Since many viruses and worms are propagated through Outlook and Outlook Express, we recommend against these two clients. Eudora, Thunderbird, and many other clients work very well with UVSCs e-mail systems.
