Installation Instructions

In a terminal window at your Linux workstation, change to the directory where you downloaded the client, then use the following commands to uncompress and untar the downloaded file:

tar -xvzf gw701clnxm.tgz

Change to the ~/root/image/2006.06.13/client/linux directory.

In the same terminal window, become root by entering su and the root password.

Enter rpm -Uhf novell-groupwise-gwclient-7.0.1-20060613.i386.rpm.

To start the Cross-Platform client after installation, click the GroupWise icon on your Linux desktop.
