Avinti iSolation Server

Virus Outbreak Protection

UVSC's Avinti iSolation Server eliminates unknown and rapidly changing e-mail viruses from entering the college's e-mail servers. It tests the actual behavior of incoming e-mail and attachments in a virtual machine and identifies viruses for which there is no known pattern or signature. By testing messages in a virtual machine, iSolation Server eliminates the window of vulnerability between virus outbreak and signature update distribution.

Access, Accounts and Addresses

iSolation Server doesn't provide accounts or allow user access. All work with this system is performed by the UVSC E-mail Administrator. If a message sent to you is quarantined by the iSolation Server, the administrator will check to make sure it is safe, then forward it to you.
