Air Conditioning and
Refrigeration Technology
You are a service technician for a local refrigeration company. You go to a house to check a refrigerator. While you are working on the unit the housewife announces that she needs to shower. She then proceeds to go into her bedroom (which is located adjacent to the kitchen) and undresses. The bedroom door is open and you can see her every move through a mirror in the kitchen. She then comes back into the kitchen wearing only a pair of bikini underpants and asks if you need anything before she gets in the shower.
OR,
You are a service technician for a local refrigeration company. You go to a house to check a refrigerator. While you are working on the unit, the man of the house comes through the kitchen, announces he is hot and sweaty and needs to shower. He then goes into the adjacent bedroom and undresses. The bedroom door is open and you can see him as he moves around the room. He then comes back to the door, wearing only a pair of red jockey shorts, and asks, "Hey, Sis, is there anything you need before I get in the shower?"
Questions:
What should you do?
Is this an ethical or moral dilemma? (Or just wishful thinking?)
