Utah Valley State College
Financial Aid & Scholarships -- Apply Now

High School Students

Getting a college education is an investment that will pay back for a lifetime. People with a college education have better job opportunities, earn more money, and develop skills and knowledge that can never be taken away.

To maximize UVSC’s many financial aid programs, you need to apply early. Scholarship applications are due February 1st. To receive federal and state aid, begin the application process in January and submit your FAFSA as soon as your parent(s) have filed their taxes during your senior year.

To receive aid, you must be admitted to UVSC with a high school diploma, or with an equivalent certificate (GED), or (if 18 or older and your high school class has graduated) has passed a test approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Please note, a certificate of completion will not meet the high school graduation requirement.

Important Reminders:

  • Check your UVLink email often-this is the way we will communicate with you!
  • Make sure Financial Aid & Scholarships has a copy of your high school transcript.
  • If you completed a rigorous program in high school, be sure to apply for the Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG.)
