Returning/Non-Traditional Students

To maximize UVSC’s many financial aid programs, you need to apply early. Scholarship applications are due February 1st. To receive federal and state aid, begin the application process in January and submit your FAFSA as soon as you and/or your parent(s) have filed taxes for the year.

To receive aid, you must be admitted to UVSC with a high school diploma, or with an equivalent certificate (GED), or (if 18 or older and your high school class has graduated) has passed a test approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

If you have very unusual or special circumstances, please visit with a Financial Aid Advisor to review your options and additional resources.

• Check your UVLink email often-this is the way we will communicate with you!
• Make sure Financial Aid & Scholarships has a copy of your high school transcript.
• Review UVSC’s Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy.
