Required once each academic year. May be completed beginning June 1st for Fall Semester.

Exit Loan Counseling
Complete ONLY if this is your last semester at
UVSC.

Entrance Loan Counseling

NOTE: All students wanting to receive a student loan must complete Student Loan counseling every academic year.

Go to UV Link´s Financial Aid Menu to complete loan counseling for 0809.
After you have completed loan counseling:
1. if you have picked a Utah lender, proceed to accept your loan through UV Link´s Financial Aid Menu.
2. if you want to use a lender outside Utah, notify our office at 801-863-8442 or visit us in BA 105 (Browning Administration).
Please accept your loan through UV Link.
Three days after you accept your loan:
1. For Utah Lenders;
  1. if this is your first student loan... ever... proceed to www.uheaa.org. Once on the UHEAA web site, select Borrowers/Access Account from the menu. You will need to create an account to e-sign a Promissory Note. Your e-signature is your FAFSA PIN number.
  2. "NEW -- ALL STUDENTS READ THIS -- if this is not your first loan at UVU but your previous lender was Zions, Wells Fargo, or Chase, please proceed to the UHEAA web site mentioned above to sign a new Promissory Note.
  3. For any other Utah Lender, your prior master promissory note is still in effect.
2. For Out of State Lenders; please contact our office at 801-863-8442 or visit us in BA 105 (Browning Administration) so we may process your loan.
