APPLY TO UVSC: Complete the online application at www.uvsc.edu/admissions/ and pay the application fee. The admissions deadline for fall semester is August 15 and for spring is December 20. A late fee may be charged if applications are received after these deadlines. After 48 hours, you will need to access your UVSC student e-mail account by going to www.uvsc.edu and clicking on UVLink. This e-mail account is where ALL OFFICIAL UVSC communications will be sent. Be sure to check often for news, notices, etc. |

COMPLETE WEBSTART PRE-ADVISEMENT:
- Go to www.uvsc.edu and click on UVLink. If you have not yet obtained your UV ID, click on the link titled, "How do I find my UV ID?" The first time you login to UV Link, your password will be your birthday (mmddyy).
- Click the "Student" tab. Once in the main menu, click "Webstart" and begin the pre-advisement session.
- Print out your completion certificate and bring it to the meeting with your advisor.

SUBMIT ACT OR SAT SCORES AND HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT: Test scores are required for all students under age 21 by the admissions deadlines unless you have completed 15 or more college credits. All students can attend UVSC regardless of test scores. The New Student Assessment test is required if:
- ACT scores in English, reading and/or math are less than 19 or SAT scores are less than 500 in verbal and/or math. (English scores must be less than three years old and Math must be less than two years old.)
- College credit equivalent (AP, CLEP, Transfer) to UVSC's ENGL 1010 and/or MAT 1010 is not posted to your UVSC transcript. Send official transcripts to UVSC, 800 W. University Parkway MS 106, Orem, UT 84058.
The UVSC New Student Assessment is available at no charge at Testing Services in the Wolverine Service Center (WS) room 101. No appointment necessary; open M&F 8-5, T 8-8. W&Th 8-6. The complete assessment takes approximately two hours. The last test is handed out two hours prior to closing. |

Financial Aid or Scholarships
Complete the Federal Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The first priority scholarship deadline is February 1. Additional questions may be answered at http://www.uvsc.edu/students/finaid/ or call (801) 863-8442.
Text Books
For ease and convenience, purchase online through UVLink or visit the UVSC Bookstore in the Sorensen Student Center (SC) 102.
UV ID Card
Get a UV ID card at Campus Connection, located in the Sorensen Student Center. Your UV ID Card gives you access to the UVSC Library, athletic events, student activities, computer labs and a 5% discount at UVSC Food Services.
Parking Permits
Permits can be obtained online using UVLink, or by visiting One Stop (main campus) or Parking Services at 939 South 400 West (east of UVSC). Call (801) 863-8188 for more information. A current vehicle registration is required.
