Graduation -- Application
GRADUATION APPLICATION
Apply for graduation through the
NEW On-line Graduation Application System!
Please finalize your registration prior to applying.
HOW TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION (top)
Graduation is not automatic. Prospective graduates must complete the on-line Graduation Application via UVLink which includes payment of the application fee. Applicants may also be required to fill out additional forms/surveys.
(Read all instructions prior to linking to UVLink)
- Login to UVLink;
- Click on the Student Records Menu link (located on Home and/or Student tabs);
- Click on Graduation Application;
- Read all text and answer all questions on every page plus pay the application fee;
- When finished, click on the Logout/Exit icon.
After completing the application, check your UVLink e-mail. You will receive 3 e-mails per application: payment confirmation, copy of the graduation application, and confirmation from the graduation office after they have reviewed and accepted (or not accepted) your application. The graduation office will notify students in the confirmation e-mail of any requirements listed in the degree evaluation which the student did not indicate while completing the graduation application. It is the student's responsibility to complete all requirements listed on the application, associated degree evaluation and e-mail(s) from the graduation office.

Fall Semester Deadline -- First Friday in October
Spring Semester Deadline -- First Friday in February
Summer Semester Deadline -- First Friday in June
Graduation applications are processed each semester. Diplomas are mailed to graduates after final grades are reviewed and graduation requirements are verified as completed. Students failing to complete graduation requirements by the end of the semester for which they have applied must reapply for graduation and repay the fee.
Applicants for graduation who owe money to UVSC will not receive their diplomas until all debts are paid.
COST OF GRADUATION (top)
Each applicant for graduation must pay a $20 non-refundable processing fee (or $45 if during the late fee period) per degree as part of the on-line graduation application.
Students wishing to participate in UVSC commencement exercises may have additional costs in the following areas:
