Graduation -- Scholastic Recognition
SCHOLASTIC RECOGNITION
When degrees are posted on student's records, Honors are automatically awarded to students who meet the following minimum UVSC cumulative grade point averages (transfer credit not included):
Bachelor Degree Honors
Cum Laude GPA 3.60
Magna Cum Laude GPA 3.80
Summa Cum Laude GPA 3.90
(minimum of 30 graded credits completed at UVSC)
Cum Laude GPA 3.60
Magna Cum Laude GPA 3.80
Summa Cum Laude GPA 3.90
(minimum of 30 graded credits completed at UVSC)
Associate Degree Honors
Honors GPA 3.60
High Honors GPA 3.80
(minimum of 20 graded credits completed at UVSC)
Honors are not awarded for One-Year Certificates or Diplomas.
The above honors are noted on the printed diploma as well as the Official UVSC Transcript.
(Must be admitted to UVSC Honors Program - Other criteria required by Honors Department.)
(Must be admitted to Phi Theta Kappa - Other criteria required by Club.)
