Why dosent the "Remember Me" checkbox on the client keep the username and password information? Clean Access provides a session-based Remember Me checkbox. Checking this option causes the User Name and Password fields to be populated with the last values entered. The username and password entered will be remembered throughout multiple logins/logouts if the user does not reboot his/her machine. However, note that if you exit the application or reboot the machine, the user name/password information is cleared. The username and password is stored in RAM and not on the hard disk for security reasons so once the agent has been closed or the machine rebooted the username and password will be forgotten. |
