In
WordPerfect 8 or 9 for Windows,
how do I create a new folder?
In
WordPerfect, you can create a
new folder from within any file
management screen, such as the
Open
or Save
As
screens. To create a new folder,
follow these steps:
- Click
File,
then Open.
- Navigate to the directory
in which you would like to create
a new folder, and from this
window, click
File.
- Select
New,
then Folder.
- Type a name for the folder,
and then press
Enter.
Note:
If you do not see the File menu,
make sure the Toggle
Menu On/Off
button is enabled (on the right
side of the windows). Or, if this
doesn't work, right-click within
the file viewing area. Once you
do, you'll get a menu. Follow
steps 2 and 3 above to create
the folder.
