Question: How do I copy the assignments and categories from one class to another?

Go to the Edit menu and click on Import Categories and Assignments

The Select A Class File To Import From dialog will appear. Locate the file you wish to import from, and click the Open button

The Import Categories and Assignments dialog will appear. On the left-hand side, you will see the categories and assignments in the class you want to import assignments from. Select the category or assignment you wish to import, and click the Import button. (Note: If you want to import an assignment and not a category, you will need to select a category listed on the right-hand side of the dialog that you want to import the assignment into).

The category/assignment will appear on the right-hand side. You can select another category or assignment to import, or click the OK button to proceed.

Your class will now contain the categories or assignments you just imported. You can make changes in the Setup Categories dialog if you like, or proceed directly to entering scores.
