Drop the Lowest Score In a Category for Each Student.

Open your class file and click on the Edit menu.
From the Edit menu, select Setup Categories.
The Setup Categories dialog will appear on your screen.
Click on the category that contains the scores to be dropped.
Category information will appear on the right-hand side of the dialog. You should seea box labeled "Number of Low Scores To Drop", with a 0 displayed init.
To drop 1 low score per student, type 1 into the box, then click OK to close the dialog.
If you view scores in the Summary or Scores window, you should notice that each student has a "d" next to one of the scores in the category you chose in step 4.The "d" indicates a dropped score.
