GroupWise Spam Folder

How to set up a folder and rule in groupwise to easily send spam to MAILADM and delete it and delete the auto-reply from MAILADM.

Part A: Create a folder in your Cabinet for spam.

Start GroupWise, Right-click on your Cabinet in your folders list under your name.
Click new folder on the pop-up menu
Click Next
Type a folder name under Name: Spam is a good name
Click Next | Finish

Part B: Create a rule to forward spam to MAILADM and delete it.
Click Tools | Rules | New
Type a name for the rule such as Spam
Under Item Type click Mail so the box is checked
Under When Event Is click Filed Item
Next to Select Folder click the folder button, expand the cabinet, and click the folder you created in Part A, such as Spam
Under Then Actions Are click the Add Action button and click Forward In the Forward Dialog Box in the To: field type MAILADM (case doesn’t matter)
Click OK
Click the Add Action button again
Click Delete/Decline | OK
Click the Add Action button again
Click Empty Item | Save to save your new spam rule
Click Close on the Rules dialog box

Part C: Create a rule to delete the auto-reply from MAILADM.
Click Tools | Rules
Click New Under Rule Name type a name such as Delete MAILADM auto-reply messages
Under Item Type click Mail so the box is checked
Click the Define Conditions button.
In the leftmost drop-down box select Subject
In the next drop-down box select the double brackets [] for ContainType (spam received) in the next field
Click OK
In the Edit Rule dialog box under Then Actions Are click Add Action and click Delete/Decline, then click OK
Click Add Action again and click Empty Item
Click Save and Close and you are finished
