Publishing to Active on live server

Publishing to Active on live server

If your file is not showing up on the live server after you have promoted to active in LCMS.

  • Go to the file in LCMS. What is the state of the file? Is the file state: Active?
  • How long it has been since you have submitted the file to active?
  • If it has been longer then two hours submit a ticket to Jeanie Cranney in Web Development Services.

If the file state is: WIP, Approved or Staging. You will need to click on submit, check the square box next to the file name, click on submit.

If the submit button is grayed out.

  • Click on more, document, promote if file is in approved.
  • Click on more, document, promote (twice) if file is in staging.
  • Click on more, document, promote (three times) if file is in WIP. If none of these work submit a ticket to Jeanie Cranney in Web Development Services.
