There isn't enough memory available to read MS Org Chart.

When you are trying to add an organizational chart you might get a message that says you don’t have enough memory to read MS Org Chart.

This usually happens when you have too many fonts. Around 600 fonts and depending on the types of fonts installed the amount may vary.

I recommend you bring your list of fonts down to 300 give or take a few. Do not deleted the following fonts:

  • Arial
  • Courier New
  • Marlett
  • Symbol
  • Times New Roman
  • Tahoma
  • WingDings

Go to Start and then settings and open up the control panel. Click on the font folder icon to open it up. Now highlight any fonts except the ones listed above and point to File on the toolbar and choose delete.

After you are down to around 300 fonts restart your computer and open up powerpoint and insert the chart you were trying before.
