Things
to check if modem is dialing
but not connecting:
1.� Check account
to see if expired
2.� Verify
their Username and Password
3.� Verify
the phone # they are dialing
229-3900 for 56K
863-7350 for 33.6K
4.� Refresh
Account from UVSCNet Program
- Have them try again after
refreshing
5. To diagnose
the problem change the phone
number to the 33.6 - 863-7350,
then RCONSOLE into UVSCNet and
have the user dial in, watch
for the username, bad username,
bad password, etc.
6.� Folllow

7.� If still
not working
A) Remove
TCP/IP from network properties
- Reboot - Then Reinstall TCP/IP
B) Check
to see if connected to a local
network
C) If
not remove everything from Network
properties - Reboot - Reinstall
Dial-Up Adapter
and
TCP/IP protocol - If Win98 machine
install Client for Microsoft
Networks
D) If
Win95 machine install Dial-Up
Networking fromUVSCNetCD-�:95_98_NTDIALUP~1WIN95msdun13.exe
- Go back through instructions.
