If you can login into UVLink you but cannot get the WebCT screen to load when you click on your class follow these steps:
1. Disable all pop-up blockers.
A. If you have a Google, Yahoo, or MSN toolbar you need to allow all pop ups by clicking on the blocked pages tab.
B. Turn off the Windows pop-up blocker by clicking on tools, pop-up blocker and selecting turn off pop-up blocker
(once you are in WebCT, then add *.uvsc.edu to the pop-up blocker exception list).
2. Disable Norton or McAfee internet security. Right click on the Icon in the bottom left of your screen and select disable.
3. You must REFRESH the UVLink main page before you try your WebCT, after you have disabled the pop-up blockers.
4. If these steps do not work then check to make sure you are using IE on a PC and SAFARI on a MAC. No AOL or MSN browsers.
5. Check for other pop-up blocking software like Zone Alarm or any third party installations.
6. Clear cache and delete cookies.
7. Verify that you have all your windows updates and most recent JRE should be 1.5 or higher.
8. Check your internet options like privacy and security settings. Everything should be set to default.
