How do I change my display properties in windows?

On your desktop right click on a blank area so that a menu comes up. Choose active desktop and then Customize my Desktop

Click on the Settings tab and change the Screen area to somewhere close to 800 by 600 pixels by dragging the little pointer. You can also change your color setting to the highest setting it will allow you.

Choose apply and then ok. Some computers will reset in 15 minutes some will ask to restart your computer.
