How to: Add a modem driver.

Open the Control Panel and double-click the 'Modems' icon.

1) Open the Control Panel and double-click the 'Modems' icon. (The 'Install New Modem' dialog box appears.)
2) Click 'Next'.
NOTE: Modem Wizard searches for a modem. This may take a few minutes. Modem Wizard will display the type of modem and the modem model.
3) If the modem detected is the correct one, click 'Next'.
4) (Special Case) If the modem detected is incorrect:


a) Click 'Change...' (an 'Install New Modem' dialog box appears), and select the modem from the 'Models' list box.
b) (Special Case) If the modem is not listed in the 'Models' list box, click 'Have Disk...' (an 'Install from Disk' dialog box appears) and:


1] Insert the diskette or CD that has the appropriate files and do one of the following:


a] Type the full path to the files in the 'Copy manufacturing files from' text box.
b] Click 'Browse...' to locate the appropriate file.


2] Click 'OK'.


c) Click 'OK'.


5) Click 'Next'.
6) Click 'Finish' and click 'Close'.
