)There are scholarship opportunities associated with being on the International Student Council!!  The International Student Club is governed by the International Student Council.  The Council/Club is split into seven teams.  The team leaders receive a partial tuition scholarship.

)If you are interested in the scholarship, you need to join one of the International Club teams.  You may contact a team leader directly to sign up on a team.  The teams organize fun activities for team members to enjoy.  Teams are also encouraged to spread cultural diversity throughout campus.

)You must be active on a team for Fall and Spring semester of the current year to be eligible to apply for the scholarship in the Spring.  This is the most important factor in being selected for the scholarship.

)You must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

)You must be taking regular classes during your time on scholarship.  However, you can be an ESL student while you are involved with the club.  For example, if you are in ESL this year but plan on taking regular classes during the 2008-2009 school year, you should get on a team now and be active for this Fall and Spring semester as an ESL student.  You could then be eligible to apply for the scholarship for the 2008-2009 school year.

)You must be “In Status” in the SEVIS database.
