How do I access indexes from off campus?
You may access any index that UVSC subscribes to from anywhere on campus or home. You may also access all indexes from home by inputting the barcode on the back of your UVSC ID. To access a list of indexes subject, select the broad subject area from the pull down menu beneath the Articles link on the home page, and click on the name of the index you wish to search from the resulting list. Once you click on the name of the index, you will be prompted for your UVID number and password.
How do I get answers to questions not listed here?
The quickest way to get assistance is to use the Library's Live Help chat service. To access Live Help, click on the green Live Help button at the top of each web page on the library's web site. Another option is to submit questions to our Ask A Librarian email service. Also feel free to contact a librarian at the reference desk at (801) 863-8840.

Currently enrolled students can login with their UVID number for the username and birthdate (MMDDYY) for the password. If you cannot remember your UVID number, we can help you locate it.
Any unpaid fine or fee to the library could result in a hold being placed on a student's UVSC records. This will prevent the student from registering or obtaining transcripts until the situation is rectified. Payment for fines or fees can be made at the library third floor circulation desk or at the cashier's office. For any questions related to library fines or fees, contact Judy Robertson at 863-8148.
The library uses the UVSC ID card as a library card. You may get an ID at Campus Connections. Faculty may also get a library card at the 3rd floor circulation desk, but this card is only good at the UVSC Library and will not be accepted at other college or university libraries.
