• Available 24/7 from homepage ( www.uvsc.edu/library )
• Over 100 indexes available, grouped by subject
• Many indexes provide full text to articles
• All indexes available from off campus with your Novell login
• Free Dialog, or mediated, searching available to additional indexes

Newspapers

• Current issues in library
• Links to online newspapers-daily issues online
• Chronicle of Higher Education-Call the Reference Desk at x8840 for the username and password
• Access to full text newspaper indexes which include New York Times and Wall Street Journal

Audiovisual Material

• Videos, DVDs, CDs, and CD-ROMS listed in library catalog

• Checkout period adjusted as needed for faculty
• Schedule AV material for classroom viewing with Heather x7112
• Music audio streaming database

Media Equipment Checkout

• Faculty can check out equipment from the third floor circulation desk.
• Currently have LCD projectors, Portable screens,Presentation carts (projector, DVD player and speakers),DVD Players, Elmo projectors,Disc/tape player,Miscellaneous cables, ethernet cords
• On-campus (3-hour) and off-campus checkout available.

Books

• Faculty checkout - 8 weeks, with renewals
• UVSC ID allows checkout at any other Utah academic institution library

Requesting Material

• Request materials not owned by UVSC
• Interlibrary Loan form online for books or articles
• Electronic delivery of ILL articles
• Interlibrary Loan hours 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Research assistance for faculty and students
• Stop by the Reference Desk on the 3rd floor or call x8840
