Utah Valley State College
School, College, & University Partnerships -- General Information

Dedicated to Student Success

Purpose:

The UVU Partnership program has been developed to help UVU students find success with their academic endeavors by:

(1) accessing all applicable on-campus and community resources;
(2) supplying low cost, personalized, academic tutoring;
(3) providing professional career & academic counseling; and
(4) giving follow-up assistance as needed.

Who can get help:

The program is open to all UVU students with a desire to succeed.

Types of help available:

Some students may need just a little help in areas like math or English. Others may require help with a number of their classes. The UVU Partnership's goal is to access whatever help a student needs to succeed. The types of academic help available through the College Partnership include: professional career and academic counseling, personalized tutoring, help with graduation goals, training on testing practices, and career assessment.

Cost:

The first option of the Partnership initiative is to help the students access any and all of the no cost UVU and community resources and programs. The College Partnership initiative is in no way intended to take the place of any existing program.

If a student needs and desires additional help and support above the school programs, the cost will be calculated on the amount of help desired.
