Event Scheduling

UVSC is a diverse institution which hold numerous types of events throughout the year. Along with some of these events comes the need for medical, security, and police presence. UVSC Police Department requires police presence at most concerts, dances, sporting events, and some high profile speakers. To help you evaluate your needs for an event and to schedule police officers and security personnel, please fill out the Public Safety Event Evaluation form found below at least two weeks prior to your event. You will also need to fax a accurate floor plan with the layout of your event to 863-7450 two weeks prior to your event. You will then receive a reply within 48hrs of submitting the form and faxing the layout.

Also note the permit fee schedule below. Permit fees are to be paid to UVSC Fire Marshal's Office prior to permits being issued.

Permit Fee Schedule- Effective August 1st, 2006

Fireworks Indoor/Outdoor..............................................................................$150

Vehicle Displays Inside (McKay Event Center only location allowed)....$50

Fire Alarm Shut Down .....................................................................................$100

Fire Watch ..........................................................................................................$30 per hour
