April 2nd- Sexual Harassment- A 23 year old female was approached by a unknown male on a shuttle bus and asked if she wanted to participate in a sexual act. The female said no and called UVSC Police. The female was able to provide a description and possible name of the suspect. The incident is still under investigation. April 2nd- Fight- A fight broke out between two International students in the Liberal Arts building. April 2nd- Agency Assist- UVSC Officers responded to Remington Apartments on a report of a suicidal male threatening to kill himself with a sword. Officers made entry into the apartment and secured the scene. The incident was then turned over to Orem Police upon their arrival. April 4th- Agency Assist- A UVSC Officer responded to College Terrace Apartments along with Orem Police and Fire Department on a report of a overdose. April 5th- Trespassing- A 34 year old male student was found sleeping on campus. The student stated he recently was evicted from his apartment and had no money and is trying to finish the semester. The student was warned for trespassing and referred to a local shelter. April 5th- Warrant Service- A 22 year old male was stopped for a traffic violation. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was booked into the Utah County Jail. April 5th- Agency Assist- UVSC Police responded to Circuit City to assist Orem Police with the arrest of three individuals in possession of a large quantity of meth. April 5th- Agency Assist- UVSC Police responded to a panic alarm at a residence near 400 W 1200 S. April 11th- Traffic Accident- There was a traffic accident in parking lot V. April 13th- Auto vs Pedestrian- A 23 year old male was struck in the leg by a vehicle in parking lot N. The 23 year old male had a scuff mark on his leg. The 19 year old female driver left the scene and was later located and cited. April 14th- Agency Assist- UVSC Police along with Orem Fire Department responded to a report of a fire on a balcony at Pinnacle Apartments. The report was unfounded. April 14th- Agency Assist- UVSC Police along with Orem Police responded to a report of Domestic Violence at Pinnacle Apartments, April 14th- Unattended Child- A 11 year old child was left unattended at the Wolverine Service Center while the mother took a test. The mother was warned for neglect by a UVSC Officer and the child was picked up by another family member. April 18th- Agency Assist- Officer Redmond responded to Circuit City to assist Orem Police with a 37 year old female who was DUI. April 18th- Agency Assist- K9 Officer Smith and Officer Sprague responded to Provo High School to assist Provo Police with the search of the school due to a bomb threat. April 20th- Medical- A 13 year old female competing in the Regional Gymnastics Championships fell from the uneven bars injuring her neck. She was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation. April 21st- Agency Assist- A UVSC Officer responded to a parking lot south of the MATC along with Orem Police and Fire units on a report of a suicide. A 29 year old male had suffered a gun shot wound to the head. April 22nd- Agency Assist- A UVSC Officer responded to 1150 S Geneva Rd to assist Orem Police with an 80 year old combative man. The man was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. April 22nd- Medical- A 15 year old female competing in the Regional Gymnastic Championships landed on her head during a floor routine and injured her neck. She was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment. April 24th- Agency Assist-Officer Sprague and K9 Officer Smith responded to Provo to assist with the search of a County building after a bobme threat was received. April 26th- Agency Assist- Several UVSC Officers assisted with securing roads and access points in Orem and at the Provo Airport while Dick Cheney was attending the NYU commencement.
