February 9th-Traffic Accident A 16 year old female pulled out from McKay Drive in front of a vehicle being driven on 1200 W by a 49 year old male. The female's vehicle was struck by the male's vehicle. The female was found at fault for failure to yield.
February 9th- Medical- A 18 year old high school student participating in the UHSAA State Wrestling Championship suffered life threatening injuries during a wrestling match. The 18 year old was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for his injuries.
February 10th- Medical-A speaker was knocked over during a dance competition in the Reagan Theater and struck a 17 year old female on the feet. The female was evaluated by Orem Paramedics and released on scene to a guardian.
February 12th-Theft- A laptop was stolen from the Pope Science building after the owner left her laptop on a table in the hallway while she went into a office. When she returned, the laptop was gone.
February 12th- Medical- A 19 year old dancer injured his back when performing a routine with a female dancer. The male refused treatment and was released on scene.
February 13th-Warrant Service- A 20 year old male was booked into the Utah County Jail on an outstanding warrant after he was involved in a traffic accident in parking lot Q.
February 13th- Traffic Accident/ DUI-A vehicle failed to yield the right of way at McKay Drive 1200 W and was struck by a vehicle traveling north bound on 1200 W. The driver of the vehicle traveling north bound was arrested for DUI and booked into the Utah County Jail.
February 13th-Driving on Suspension- A traffic stop was initiated at 1000 S 400 W for illegal tint and a registration violation. The driver was issued a citation for Driving on Suspension and given warnings for the other violations.
February 15th-Traffic Accident- Two vehicles collided in the round-a-bout.
February 15th- Hit and Run Traffic Accident- A 16 year old male driving a Landcruiser struck another vehicle in the UCAS parking lot. The driver was later located and issued a citation for leaving the scene of an accident.
February 16th-Traffic Accident- A vehicle failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of a vehicle traveling westbound on North College Drive at 900 W. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and had to be towed.
February 16th-Medical- A 18 year old male attempted to do a front flip in the Student Center and landed on his face. The male was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of facial and possible neck injury.
February 17th- Agency Assist- UVSC Police responded to Summerwood Apartments along with Orem Police on a noise complaint. Several citations were issued for Illegal Consumption and Contributing to the Delinquency of a minor.
February 17th- Medical- A 20 year old female collapsed in the Issue Room after playing racquetball. The female was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
February 19th- Traffic Accident- A 20 year old male borrowed his friend's car to run an errand. On his way back, he fell asleep and went off the road on College Drive near lot D. The vehicle traveled up the grass hill then hit a tree. The vehicle suffered two flat tires, two broken axles, body damage, and a broken rear window.
February 21st- Agency Assist- Officer Redmond responded to Wal Mart along with Orem Paramedics on a adult male with chest pains.
February 21st-Agency Assist- Officer Sprague responded to a rollover traffic accident on I-15 south of University Parkway.
February 21st-Disorderly Conduct- Officer Ross responded to the Student Center on a report of a possible fight in progress. The fight was between two employees. After the incident, one of the employees quit his job.
February 21st- Agency Assist- Officer Ross assisted Highway Patrol with a traffic stop at University Parkway and I-15.
February 22nd- Warrant Service- Officer Sprague responded to Parkway Crossing to assist Orem Police with a suspect that had two warrants for his arrest. Officer Sprague took the suspect into custody and booked him into the Utah County Jail.
February 22nd-Agency Assist- Officer Redmond responded to 1000 W University Parkway to assist an Orem Police Officer with taking a wanted person into custody for a Felony Warrant.
February 22nd-Agency Assist- Officer Redmond responded to 600 W University Parkway to assist an off duty Provo Police Officer with a traffic stop in which the driver had warrant for his arrest.
February 22nd- Motorcycle Impounded- Officer Sprague stopped a motorcycle for speeding. The driver was issued citations for No Insurance, Expired Registration, No Motorcycle Endorsement, and Speeding. The motorcycle was also impounded.
February 22nd- Agency Assist- UVSC Officers responded to Mikes Chevron located at 1200 S Geneva Rd on a report of a disorderly situation that may turn into an assault.
February 22nd- Water Leak- Chief Rockwood responded to a report of a broken water line in the Gunther Trades building.
February 25th- Search Warrant- UVSC Officers obtained a search warrant for a residence in Provo for a felony theft investigation. The officers served the warrant along with Provo Police and were able to take the suspect into custody for an arrest warrant obtained some time ago.. The suspect was booked into the Utah County Jail.
