Sample Federal Grant Submission
hands
Federal grant guidelines change from program to program.

The process of making a federal grant begins long before an applicant or grantee ever sends a piece of paper to the government.

Federal grants have their origin in the legislative process of Congress and the regulatory process of federal agencies. Federal agencies must set up a structure for the orderly review, award, and administration of grants.

Use the sample documents below to gain an understanding for how to structure your grant proposal and final submissions. Although the actual structure of how you submit your final proposal will differ from program to program, the following sample documents will provide you with an understanding of form, style and voice that would be expected for any Federal grant submission.
