Hi! I'm the Academic Advisor for PE/REC (Exercise Science, Outdoor Recreation Management and PETE) and Community Health. I believe academic advising is an educational process intended to help students in making decisions about their academic careers and lifelong career choices. I can help students choose courses, discuss educational and career goals, and encourage them to consider questions of personal growth. I will also aid in planning academic programs and in referring students to other campus services. Students are responsible for pursuing this opportunity as they feel appropriate for their needs. Effective advising is only possible with proper communication. It is important for students to see me as early as possible in their academic career to ensure they make the most of their time at UVSC.
