Bachelor of Science in Technology Management, Fire Science Specialty
The Bachelor of Science in Technology Management, Fire Science Specialty is imbedded in the Technology Management Department and focuses on technology management principles. Students are allowed to pick an area of specialty to focus their studies and enhance their management skills attainment.

A firefighter works approximately 110 days each year. The work is generally shift work - 24 hours on and 48 hours off. Those hired begin work as Firefighters and EMTs. Additional opportunities as Fire Engineers, Paramedic Firefighters, Fire Inspectors, Lieutenants, Captains, Battalion Chiefs, etc., are also available. The average starting salary for firefighters is $28,000 - $32,000 a year.
