ARTICULATIONS
Utah Valley State College accepts transfer courses according to our
General Transfer Credit Acceptance Policy. In accordance with our general policy, transfer credit is accepted on a course by course basis as long as the course taken was college level and the student received a "C-" grade or higher. Transfer grades are not calculated into UVSC's cumulative GPA.
TRANSFER ARTICULATION DATABASE
To look up courses at other colleges and see how UVSC accepts them, view our Transfer Articulation database.
Note: If your college/university is not listed in the database, it does not mean UVSC doesn't or won't accept credit from that college. This database shows all previously evaluated courses and is updated in real-time. Due to the amount of information in this database, it may take several minutes to load.
IN-STATE ARTICULATIONS
UVSC maintains specific Articulations with various colleges. Which means a student may take a specific course, at a specific college, then transfer the course to UVSC and fulfill a specific
General Education Requirement.
The following is a list of schools with which UVSC maintains specific Articulations. Click on the school name for a complete list of General Education courses a student can take at that college, then transfer to UVSC and fulfill a specific General Education Requirement.
The 2007-2008 General Education Articulations are currently under review. Please view the above Transfer Articulation database or check back later. If the course fulfills general education at one of these colleges, UVSC will honor it as fulfilling general education.

An Associate in Science/Arts degree from any Utah System of Higher Education institution will fulfill UVSC's General Education Requirements (except the American Institutions requirement). An articulation agreement is not necessary for this stipulation to apply. UVSC will require students to satisfy the American Institutions requirement if an equivalent course has not been taken. In certain majors, there may be specific additional classes that will need to be fulfilled to complete graduation requirements.
STATE TRANSFER GUIDE
The Utah System of Higher Education
