WE ARE THE RISING GENERATION
What is Educational Talent Search?
Educational Talent Search is a federally funded program that identifies and serves individuals interested in post secondary education or vocational training. Guidance activities are offered on various topics such as self-exploration, career decisions, financial aid application, and college registration. The goal of the program is for students to seek to further their education, and to be better prepared due to the services provided.
Services Provided:
- Career guidance and counseling: interest and apptitude testing, and researching career information to make better choices.
- Academic counseling: educational planning, (SEOP), study skills, time management, learning styles, ACT preparation, and tutoring.
- Decision making: financial planning, personal introspection, values clarification.
- Visiting various college campuses throughout the state.
