JASON E. CHAFFETZ is President of Maxtera Utah, Inc, a private business management firm that specializes in overseeing portfolios and developing best practices, strategies and solutions for client companies. He is the former Chief of Staff to Utah State Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr., and was also his campaign manager for election. He was General Manager for Nu Skin Enterprises in Australia and New Zealand, and also worked for KUTV, Channel 2 as a producer, editor, reporter and anchor in the sports department.

He received his B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University where he had an athletic scholarship as a place kicker on the BYU football team. He has been involved in the community as a commissioner for Highland City planning, President of the BYU Utah County Cougar Club, on the Cougar Club Board of Directors, and is a licensed soccer coach. He and his wife, Julie, and their three children reside in Alpine, Utah.
