Joseph Watkins was born on July 16, 1983 in Corvallis, Oregon.  He is the son of Warner and Jan Watkins and the youngest of nine adopted children. He graduated from Mogollon High School in Heber, AZ, where he enjoyed wrestling and playing football.

Joseph has been involved with student government for the past two years as a Department Representative and the Senator for the School of Technology and Computing.  He is currently serving as the Student Body President for UVUSA.  Joseph was appointed a Board of Trustee Member April of 2008.

Joseph is currently studying for a bachelor degree in Integrated Studies at Utah Valley University, and has completed an associate degree in Drafting Technology.
