What is a Health Risk Appraisal Test?
The Health Risk Appraisal (HRA) is a measurement of one's current health status. It helps individuals become aware of the health needs and lifestyle practices that determine personal well being. The personal wellness profile emphasizes factors that we can control. Positive reinforcement of good health practices, along with recommendations for
change (when needed) are made for each of the major health areas that are tested.
Participants complete a health risk appraisal by filling out an online lifestyle questionnaire, as well as completing 8 fitness tests. Participants may also just fill out the online lifestyle questionnaire if they do not want to do the fitness test. We offer these fitness tests monthly. Please make sure you have completed the online questionnaire before you come in for your fitness test.
